Uniting within our shared region to pursue bold and unique projects seems to us a necessary form of resistance, allowing us to continue inventing the cinema of tomorrow together. Providing ourselves with the means to produce our work and supporting the projects of filmmakers whose vision resonates with us is a way to reclaim the tools of filmmaking and make cinema differently: this is our goal.
We are united by a commitment to cinema driven by engaged perspectives on the world, by narratives that expand our imaginations, but we also want to produce more hybrid films, experimental works, because only the dialogue between all these forms, in its diversity, truly makes sense.
In our era of great uncertainty, in a world where all balances are crumbling, we believe more than ever in the power of collective action, in the necessity of producing differently, in a handcrafted way in the truest sense of the word. We must invent new practices, and our experience in numerous film production roles is a valuable asset. We want to produce in a spirit of collaboration, with the aim of welcoming filmmakers who identify with our approach and practices. In the interest of the films and their wider exposure, we will also develop co-production opportunities and forge the best alliances to champion our work.
We want to make films here and within the territories of our respective imaginations, films of a world whose upheavals, life, and changes must be captured and represented!
