529 Dragons
Aurélia Barbet
She directed Hôtel Plasky in 2004, Cette femme à laquelle je pense in 2005, and co-directed Holiday with Agathe Dreyfus in 2005. She ventured into documentary filmmaking with Ceux qui restent in 2011, which follows the recovery of a man whose wife committed suicide due to work. In 2012, she shot her first feature film, Passer l'hiver, which premiered at the Angers Film Festival, Premiers plans in 2013, and was released in theaters on January 15, 2014.
Since then, in addition to directing documentaries, fiction films, and essays, she has been involved in various film production and distribution companies such as Labo d'image (formerly Films de la belle de Mai), Film flamme, and Compagnie de la Cité in Marseille. From these encounters and experiences, she has developed a taste for collaborative projects, project implementation, and a desire to bring different skills together. The creation of 529 Dragons is part of these efforts and a desire for development.
