Synopsis
A hybrid comedy.
Aurélia, Dorothée, and Régis are three filmmaker friends who, in their fifties, are gradually sinking into failure. For years, their film projects have stalled, and the world of cinema seems to be moving on without them. Meanwhile, a young generation of filmmakers, from a new school called La Cinéfabrique, is racking up successes and establishing itself as the future of cinema. For the three friends,
frustration mounts, and doubt creeps in. They retreat to an isolated house in the Cévennes mountains and try to reinvent themselves. What if, to get out of this rut, they drew inspiration from the methods of this young generation?
